WHY I DECIDED TO RUN

My children come home with homework that was NEVER gone over in school, Leaving ME the parent with the ultimate responsibility to make certain my child is able to comprehend what she is being taught "by a teacher whom I've never met "because of Covid19 restrictions." As a result; I am left at odds with myself and my child is left with feelings of inferiority because the curriculum is being pushed onto her far more advanced than her level of understanding at her age. When I inquired as to whether the teacher could make sure my child comprehends what she is teaching her, I get a proposal for a $50 per hour tutoring session offered by a handful of teachers at the school.

The common method of validation for this with our current system is: "Children these days learn a lot faster", but where is the science is saying the human brain develops faster now that it has in ages, or on the same levels in every child, or that every human does not need the proper attention to detail, or learn better by different means and methods?

Instead, our children are being placed in a liberal box, FORCE FED their education and "moved along" without ANY CARE of their comprehension. Parents do all the work while teachers and schools take all of the credit at the end of the grading period. That is what I EXPERIENCE as a parent EVERY WEEK and I am here to STOP IT and hold schools and teachers accountable to the very things we entrust them with; educating and protecting our children.

On top of these things are the harmful health practices concerning face masks on our children 5 hours per day IGNORING the scientific evidence of the harmful effects of rebreathing one's own carbon-dioxide waste.

Times and times I have brought these issues to the school leadership as a parent with not only, NO results, but NO REPLY. So, Since they won't listen to me as a parent, they will be forced to listen to me as an equal with YOUR help!

WHERE I COME FROM:

Born and raised in East Cleveland, Ohio having migrated to Florida in the early 2000's; "L.W." Lamonte Jordan was brought up in the (Ronald Reagan Era) public education system and learned first hand the potential of a good public education. Choosing not to enter college directly after highschool, L.W. joined the United States Navy to serve his country during the Gulf War Conflict in the Middle East.

After joining the Unites States Navy in 1989 and returning home from the Operation Desert Storm; L.W. years later, began pursuing an education on his own. Attending Ohio University, Cleveland State University, and The International Academy of Design and Technology - Tampa to gain knowledge and earn Certificates and Associates in each program with a Bachelors in Graphic Design, Website Development and Advertising.

Unable to gain employment in Tampa, Florida (for reasons unknown, as they say; systemic racism doesn't exist) L.W. empowering himself with the knowledge needed to provide "himself" with the opportunities not given by today's work place and became self-employed in 2007. Now, a successful entrepreneur of over 13 years, and father of 3, L.W. Jordan knows what it takes to instill success in our children despite their social and economic setbacks.

WHAT I BELIEVE:

I believe it Is time to bring Public Education back to the times when teachers actually CARED and schools EMPOWERED children to be great through vocational programs and focused curriculum that prepared them for life after high school.

While going to college is a dream for most, it is not a dream for all. Many children enter into career paths immediately after high school. Programs like "SHOP CLASS" equipped children with the skills they needed to become productive citizens and make a living in careers that do not neccessarily require a college degree.

The attempts of the elite left to "indoctrinate" instead "educate" have destroyed these empowering programs for the sole purpose of taking these advantages away and producing "slaves of society". We must NOT allow that. Each and every one of us who has children, or plans to have children, or CARES about the future of our country needs to support one another and fight. I am leading the way in Florida and I am asking for your support. Will you HELP ME?

MY APPROACH

I am effectively running for the Florida Schools by way of the Hillsborough Country School District 5 in Tampa, Florida. It is the worst and most underserved District in the Nations 7th largest school district.

Together, we can strip liberal oppression, and harmful mandates and doctrines that are planned for the future of our kids. Your donation will give me a fighting chance to effectively change the system from within and make public education, once again, a system parents can trust.

Make all face masks and vaccinations on children optional by parents

Make teachers more accountable to children's comprehension

Age appropriate learning and materials, not forcing kids to grow up too fast.

Re-institute vocational education for careers that do not require college.

Open school board meetings

Election system for school policies, not more dictatorships

Tampa, Florida is a Diverse community of virtually every ethnic group in the world, and all should be represented and protected in the same way. From inner city schools to suburban schools education should be education. Our CHILDREN are the future of this country no matter WHAT community they come from and they should ALL be given the SAME opportunities without the inconvenience of parents making long commutes for seeking alternative schooling.

I plan to "re-institute old-school" policies that made us the strongest country in the nation and battle any policies that creates inferiority and weakness in our children.

I proposes to hold teachers and school districts moe accountable to the education that they SHOULD BE providing for children.

By holding teachers and schools accountable to "teaching" and not placing the bulk of the burden of education on parents, I plan to make our educational system do what we pay it to do. I will hold teachers accountable to "caring" about each student, primarily in K-6 Levels, training teachers how to identify crisis in a Childs life, and reaching out to parents to gain a deeper understanding about the child in their classroom and their comprehension capabilities. I believe this will help teachers improve upon their own teaching methods and in turn give each child the attention they need. It happens in private schools with far less staff. Why is this simple lack of concern so prevalent in public schools?

I also plan to reinstate "old-school" policies that hold children and parents alike responsible for bad behavior. Re-instituting disciplinary laws that keep kids safe from bullying and without the disruption of education; to which the school board must be held accountable.
